High School Spanish Teacher
Sophie Ingerslew was born in Connecticut to French and Lebanese parents - native French speaker - lived in France for 3 years as a child. She received a BA in Biology and Spanish from Rice University and an MS in Epidiomology from the University of Texas in Houston, TX. Sophie is a mother to 6 kids, including a teenage daughter recently adopted from Ukraine. During her time as an at-home mom, she has been heavily involved in her children’s education. She and Jim have been married for 21 years and have enjoyed teaching the Word and shepherding hearts in the student ministry at Eternal Church in Fort Mill, SC. Sophie is thankful to be at WGCS, where she looks forward to sharing the love of Christ with her students.
